spring soccer season

Today was Asher's last soccer game of the spring season. The season was supposed to end midway through April but we had so much rain that his games were rescheduled through May. He really enjoyed his first team sport experience. He scored a few goals (two in the final game), won some games and had his own personal cheering section thanks to Natalee, Chad, Ronnie, Lois, Quentin, Dottie, and Rick. They were far too rowdy for my liking, but he enjoyed the screaming and the tips for playing dirty. Here are a few photographic highlights.

The jerseys made it really easy to yell at the players during games.

A typical practice, Asher is most likely telling his coach that he is really good,
or that he's been practicing, or that he knows all the rules,
or that he isn't tired at all!

Practicing w/Aunt Natalee.

Warming up for his two footed jump shot.

Jackson just finished his first season. I saw that field and thought, "wow, that looks like,uh, Oklahoma." Missing y'all.
