Tonight we took Asher to the OKC Zoo for "Haunt the Zoo." It's a fundraiser where kids dress up and run around getting candy from various booths supported by local businesses. We figured that it'd be a good trial run for his costume and to get him used to seeing other people in costume. We all had a good time, and he brought home a nice haul. He also learned the rules of trick-or-treating.
M: Alright Asher, go up to that lady and say trick-or-treat, but say it loud enough so she can hear you.
(Asher approaches woman, opens up his bag, pauses for a moment)
A: (yelling) I want some!
